Augustine Volcano sprouts a mirage of wings over Cook Inlet of Alaska. On this day, layers of air with distinct and sharply defined atmospheric properties lay stacked near the surface of the ocean, causing reflective distortion. The other side of my brain just says "I like it!" 2 July 2008
