Physical Gallery

I have a physical gallery in downtown Homer, Alaska, at a local and popular espresso shop. Michael Dotson, owner of All Hopped Up Espresso, likes to bring in art from the rich Homer arts community. At the left are samples of some of the prints, framing, and lighting ideas I have enjoyed putting together. I have found that good lighting is essential to even acceptable presentation. I have chosen to use Sol Lux track lighting with 3500 K bulbs. The larger prints, including frames, are 24"x33". I often use Picture Alaska, a local framing company, to professionally frame my prints. I also occasionally do my own framing, but I like to focus on taking pictures and overseeing print production. (Pun intended) There is a continual learning curve in photography, which I have a love/hate relationship with, depending on how much time I feel like I have. In any case, I am absolutely thrilled that I can partake in this adventure.
